Bostwick Creek Shooting Academy
LADIES ONLY!!! We will provide you with everything you need to get started with a firearm so come join us for a day of learning and fun. Our NRA FIRST Steps Pistol Class fulfills and exceeds the training Requirements for the Florida Concealed Weapon/Firearm License. The class is designed to provide a hands-on introduction to the safe handling and proper orientation to one specific pistol action type. This course is 4 hours long and involves classroom and range time learning to shoot a specific pistol action type.
Students will learn the NRA's rules for safe gun handling; the semi-automatic pistol model parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Included : NRA Basic Pistol packet, the use of a variety of firearms (You may bring your own), State application for CCW, targets, 50 rounds of ammunition and range fees. Course Fee $100.00 with your own firearm and ammunition / $135.00 with our firearms and 50 rounds ammunition. Our NRA BASIC Pistol Class fulfills and exceeds the training Requirements for the Florida Concealed Weapon/Firearm License. This course is at least 8-hours long and includes classroom and range time learning to shoot revolvers and semi-automatic pistols.
Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; pistol parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the pistol; and continued opportunities for skill development. Included : NRA Basic Pistol packet, the use of a variety of firearms (You may bring your own), State application for CCW, targets, 50 rounds of ammunition and range fees. Course Fee $150.00 with your own firearm and ammunition / $185.00 with our firearms and 50 rounds ammunition.
